Obituary
Peter Martin Lopez passed away Saturday afternoon, September 10, 2011 at the Renown Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. Peter was 22.
Peter was born in Reno, Nevada on November 27, 1988 the son of Avery Lopez and Lona Katenay.
He lived his entire life in Yerington. He was the bass player for the band called 'Seven Churches'. He was a talented artist and liked playing the electric keyboard.
Peter is survived by his parents; his brothers, Mario, Avery, Jr., Danny, Mikey, Dusty and Mark; his Sister, Kayla; his Maternal grandmother, Wanda Kurtek; his paternal grandparents, Augustine and Ada Lopez; Auntie Reynese Salas, Cousin, Toby Salas; sister-in-law, Amy Roberts and niece, Payton.
Peter's funeral service will be 10:00 am Friday, September 16, 2011 at the Yerington Paiute Tribal Gymnasium, 171 Campbell Lane Yerington. A viewing/open casket will begin around 9:00 am Friday at the Gym. Burial will be at the Valley View Cemetery. A lunch will be provided at the YPT Gymnasium following the services.
