Pete Perumean, Jr. passed away at his home in Yerington surrounded by his family on Thursday evening, October 9, 2008. He was 73.

Pete was born in Downey, California on January 14, 1935 the son of Peter and Cecelia Perumean. Pete has lived in the Yerington area for over 58 years as a Dairyman, Land Leveler and Farmer. Pete had served in the Army National Guard and Reserve for over 8 years. He enjoyed collecting and restoring old cars and tractors. He was a big kid at heart who liked to joke and tease, and was a very hardworking, loving, supportive husband and father.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Ann; his children, Michael of Yerington; Patti (Brian)Trickel of Portland, Oregon and Suzanne (Robert) Chaney of Birmingham, AL; his brother, Phillip and sister, Phyllis Hunewill; his three grandchildren, Brianna, Easton and Kathryn. He was preceded in death by his parents.

His funeral service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, October 18th, 2008 at the Yerington Vineyard Fellowship Church 307 Broadway Avenue Yerington with burial at the Valley View Cemetery.
