Phoebe Ervin passed away Sunday morning May 8, 2011 at the South Lyon Medical Center after a lengthy illness, with her husband by her side. Phoebe was 72.

Phoebe was born in Napa, California on June 7, 1938 the daughter of Frank and Dorothy Winslow. She married Charles Bublak in 1957, and they had four children, Alma, Lori, Mark and Amy. In 1971, she married Nathan Ervin and they became proud parents of a daughter, Natalie.

Phoebe enjoyed quilting, gardening and cooking. She was good at all she did. She and her husband Nate traveled alot. The have been all over the United States. They enjoyed some fun cruises together and also enjoyed camping. Phoebe had the joy of taking each of her daughters on a separate cruise of their choice.
She also was able to travel to Australia recently, a place she dreamed of going for years.

Phoebe has been a active member of Faith Lutheran Church, and a 25 year member of the Rebekah Lodge.

Phoebe is survived by her husband, Nathan; daughters, Alma(R.W.), Lori(Alva), Amy(Milt), and Natalie; Son, Mark(Diane); grandchildren, Ross, Robyn, Spencer, Crystal, and Dejan; great-grandchildren, Analyce, Ryon, and Leah; brother, Bob(Betty) Winslow; sister, Caroline(Jim)Feely; nephews, Trebor, Trenton, and Fritz. She is also survived by numerous family members and loving friends.

Phoebe's funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Church, at the corner of West and Van Ness Street, Yerington. Burial will be at the Valley View Cemetery.
