Phyllis Longero passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025.  She was 91.

She was born on May 22, 1934 in Reno, Nevada the daughter of Phillip and Fern Crowder.

Phyllis grew up in southwest Reno, attended Reno High School and The University of Nevada, Reno, where she met her husband of 50 years Jerry "Jake" Longero. They married and moved to Yerington, Nevada, where she taught at Yerington Elementary School.

Phyllis loved the San Francisco 49ers, she also enjoyed playing golf and bridge. She was always up for playing cards or having brunch with her great friends. But most of all, she loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren Brady and Jake.

Phyllis was predeceased in death by her husband Jerry "Jake" Longero, and her daughter Dawn Longero.
Phyllis is survived by her son Dale Longero, and grandchildren Brady, Kristina, and Jake Longero, as well as Dale's ex-wife Susan Longero Cameron.

Her Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 15th at Yerington Community United Methodist Church, 221 N Main St Yerington, Nevada 89447.  Family and friends are invited to sign her online guest book at www.FRFH.net
