Raliegh Lee Davidson passed away at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington, Nevada on Thursday afternoon, April 3, 2008. He was 77.
Raliegh was born in London, Kentucky on July 20, 1930 the son of Estrall and Maggie Davidson. He had lived in Yerington, Nevada since 1990. He had worked as a ditch rider in the Yerington area for several years. Prior to coming to Yerington he had lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, in Arizona and in Hawthorne, Nevada. In Hawthorne he had met his wife, Patricia Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Davidson of Yerington; by his children, Cecil, John, Connie and Patricia; by his sister, Martha and her husband TD Irving; by his sister-in-law, Anna Lee Davidson; and by his six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and one brother.
In keeping with his wishes no local services will be held. His cremains will be taken back to Standford, Kentucky where a memorial service will be held and burial will be in the family cemetery plot. Sperlin Funeral Home of Stanford, Kentucky will handle arrangements for the family back in Kentucky.
