Ray "Buzz" W. Diehl passed away suddenly on Sunday evening, March 5, 2012 at South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington from complications of brain surgery. He was 59.

Ray was born in Yerington, Nevada on September 30, 1952 the son of Ray and Viola (Dilbeck) Diehl.

Buzz served in the United States Air Force after graduating from High School. He worked in maintenance for the Lyon County School District. Buzz loved fishing and hunting with his Uncle Hunky, who he felt was as close as a father to him. He loved helping the people of Yerington with his ability to fix anything and he was known for his gift of gab.

He is survived by his wife, Li Ma Diehl and his daughter, Yang Diehl; his brother and sisters, Sherry, Melvin and Erica; his Father, Ray "Bud" Diehl, his Uncle Bob and aunt Babe Keller, as well as many cousins who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Viola Diehl Carrigan Hall, Uncle "Hunky" Dilbeck and his adored grandma & grandpa Dilbeck.

His Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 10th at the Jeanne Dini Center, 120 North California Street,Yerington.
