Raymelle Pope, age 85, passed away June 1, 2017 at her son's home in Yerington, Nevada.

Raymelle was born in Monroe, North Carolina on May 25, 1932 the daughter of Zebulin and Maude (Haigler) Williams, one of eleven children.

She graduated from Union High School where she exceled in basketball and softball.  In 1951 she married Daniel C. Pope, Sr. and together they moved to Sharon, Pennsylvania where they raised four sons and a daughter

She is survived by her five children, Charles, Rodney, Gene, Danny and Shelley; her 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; by her sister, Christine Turner.

The family would like to Thank Eden Hospice in Nevada for the caring service and also special Thanks to her daughter in law, Terry Pope for her tireless attention to all of our Mother's needs in her final weeks.  Raymelle's son, Danny was her primary care giver for the last two years in Sharon, they were close and enjoyed each others company.
