Robert served 20 years and a day in the Air Force and continued his career working for the States of Nevada and Oregon as a prison guard and Security with SOC in Hawthorne, NV.  Robert/Papa's greatest achievement was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He taught them everything he knew regardless of the consent of their mothers. He also imparted great wisdom.  His grandchildren and great grandchildren cherish those memories.

Robert is survived by his wife June, their children, Shawna Smith (Husband, Kevin), Robert Stanley Hogan II, and Laura Hogan; grandchildren, Linda Weidner (Husband, Kyle) Robert Stanley Hogan III, Jeremiah Hogan, William Smith (Girlfriend, McKenzy Leveton), Matthew Smith (Wife, Abby Smith); great grandchildren (Linda and Kyles children) James and Ellie Weidner.  Robert is also survived by his in-laws Diane McQueen, Betty McQueen, and Darrel Johnson as well as an extensive extended family of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved and cherished dearly.
