Obituary
Robert Lowell Hussey passed away Tuesday morning, September 20, 2016 at Carson Tahoe Hospital in Carson City from complications of cancer. He was 71.
Bob was born in Denver, Colorado on September 23, 1944 the son of Lowell and Marie (Reitz) Hussey.
He lived in Yerington since 1955 coming from Arizona. He worked 31 years for the State of Nevada as a Wildlife Biologist. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed being out exploring and riding his ATV.
Bob is survived by his longtime companion of 20 years, Carolyn Elmer; children, Stacy Elmer, Kimberly Stromer and Tonja Coutz; his numerous cousins and grandkids. Also by his brother, Richard.
His Memorial service will be held 11:00 am Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Freitas Rupracht funeral Home, 25 Hwy 208 Yerington.
