Obituary
Robert Lee Jackman passed away on Tuesday evening, January 13, 2015 at the Carson Tahoe Regional Hospital in Carson City, Nevada. He was 80.
Robert was born in Foreman, North Dakota on February 2, 1934 the son of Harry and Ella (VanOrnum) Jackman. He was a veteran of the Korean war having served in the United States Air Force. He received the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.
He has lived in the Nevada since 1997 coming from the Bay area. He enjoyed fishing, watching Football.
Robert is survived by his wife, Jackie; his sons, Bobby and Mike; a daughter in law, Sheryl; his brother, John and his sister, Lori (Jerry) Saxen; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert's funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Hwy 208 Yerington. Burial with military honors will be held at the family plot in Valley View Cemetery.
