Obituary
Robert Gordon Strand passed away early Sunday morning, December 31, 2006 at the South Lyon Medical Center-Long Term Care, Yerington. He was 78.
He was born in San Diego, California on July 16, 1928 the son of Bert and Evelyn Strand. He had worked many years for the San Diego Sheriff's Department as a deputy.
He is survived by his daughter, Marla Rose of Bakersfield, California.
In keeping with his wishes no local services will be held.
Cremation is under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington (775) 463-2911.
