Rodney James Morris passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Renown Medical Center in Reno after a battle with cancer. He was 69.

Rod was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico on November 21, 1944 the son of Wayne and Frances (Rhodes) Morris.

Rod served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Monica Rust in Reno, Nevada on December 31, 1995.

Rod enjoyed Prospecting, fishing and his dogs.

He is survived by his Wife, Monica; his daughters, Rachael and Caitlin Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Nola and a son, Paul.
