Obituary
Roman Joseph Alonso, III passed away on Sunday morning, August 21, 2011 at South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington. He was 47.
Roman was born in San Jose, California on August 21, 1964 the son of Ronald and Grace (Gonzales) Alonso. He moved from Santa Ana, California to Yerington. Roman enjoyed doing odd jobs for the elderly and loved swimming in the river.
He is survived by his children, Jeremy, Meagan, Michelle and Morgan; his brothers, Ronald and John; his sisters, Suzie Ortiz, Debbie Ramos, Marta Sue Raccio and Barbara Ramsey; his Mother and Step-Father, Grace and James Pepple; his girlfriend, Shirley Murillo; his nieces, Samantha and Allyse Alonso, Grace Ortiz and Angela Brown, and other numerous nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts. He was preceded in death by his Father and grandparents.
A Rosary will be held 7:00 pm Friday, August 26th at the Holy Family Catholic Church 103 North West Street, Yerington. Funeral Mass will be held 12:00 Noon on Saturday, August 27th at the Holy Family Catholic Church.
