Ron D. Remington died June 8, 2009 at his home, after a long battle with liver cancer.

Ron was born in Reno NV on February 6, 1938, to Clarence and Honey Remington who managed the Reno theatres. In the 1940's the family moved to Auburn California where he and his sister Shirlan grew up. He went into active duty with the Army during the Korean conflict. Ron Remington then completed his degree in Psychology.

He worked 32 years as a member of the Longshoremen's union as a clerk supervisor, at the waterfront in Oakland California with Matson Line.

He and his late wife (Milly) moved to Yerington in 2002. Milly then passed away at their home in Yerington during 2003. He is also preceded in death by his parents.

Ron Remington married Judith Biddleman in 2004 and they were active members of the High Plains Drifters cowboy action shooting club.

Ron is survived by his wife Judith of Yerington, his sister Shirlan Mertz of Folsom California.

Step daughters Jane Belez and Husband Jaime Belez (children James Pierrott, Elizabeth Pierrott, Jaime Belez, David Belez, Emily Belez) of Yerington, Jessica Crawford and Husband Dennis of Arroyo Grande California and their two sons, Step son Ron Biddleman and wife Debbie of Yerington and their fourteen children.
Jasmine and Nikolas Stinson grandchildren.

Step daughter Gayle Gianoplos and her husband Rick of Yerington and grandson and Step son Gary Gianoplos of June Lake California.

He is also survived by many other family members to whom he meant the world.

Services will be held on Sunday June 14, 2009 at Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home in Yerington Nevada at 4:00 p.m. The family request in lieu flowers, donations be made to South Lyon Healthcare Foundation for CARES Cottage, PO Box 1275 , Yerington Nevada 89447.

Ron's last wish was "Happy Trails to all"
