Obituary
Ronald Jay 'Ron' Smith, the beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend passed away at his home in Yerington, Nevada on Saturday morning, March 8, 2008 after a long battle with cancer and multiple sclorosis. He was 49.
Ron was born in Yerington, Nevada on August 10, 1958 the son of Gene and Emily (Bianchini) Smith.
He is survived by parents, his three brothers, Larry, Mike and David; his sisters, Patty and Debbie and his long time female companion, Kelly Roberts.
A Rosary will be recited 6:30 pm Tuesday, March 11th, 2008 at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Wednesday, March 12th, 2008 at Holy Family Catholic Church 37 North West Street Yerington, Nevada. Burial will be at the Valley View Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Larry Smith, Mike Smith, David Smith, Kendall Barton, Justin Mikkelson, Cody Gunn and Scott Gunn. Honorary pallbearers are Michelle Smith, Mandi Mikkelson, Kelsey Howard, Giovanni Smith and Wyatt Smith.
