Obituary
Rose Nevada Carlos passed away on Thursday morning, July 9, 2015 at Mason Valley Residence in Yerington, Nevada. She was 93.
Rose was born in Yerington, Nevada on May 7, 1922 the daughter of Joe and Marie (Caito) Barcellos.
Rose lived her entire life in Yerington. She loved traveling, fishing and playing Pinochle. She also volunteered at the Lyon County Museum. Rose was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children, Clarence Carlos of Yerington, Ramona (Jim) Schmid of Ione, California and Elaine (Bill) Stienbach of Sitka, Alaska; her 14 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughters, Julia McHugh and Susan Hasslberger; her brothers, Manuel, Tony and Carl Barcellos.
Her funeral Mass was held 11:00 am Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Yerington. Burial followed at the family plot in Valley View Cemetery.
