Obituary
Rose Marie Singleton passed away at her home in Yerington, Nevada on Wednesday afternoon, January 19, 2011. She was 75.
Rose was born in Ninga, Manitoba, Canada on January 27, 1935 the daughter of Jesse and Minnie Sage.
Rose married Charles Singleton in Modesto, California on June 4, 1960. Rose was a registered Nurse and had worked for over 35 years before retiring.
Rose lived in Yerington, Nevada for many years coming from Cameron Park, California. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, a big supporter of the SPCA, the Humane Society. Rose enjoyed crochet, knitting and loved reading mysteries and watching soap operas. She loved her grandchildren.
Rose is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Charles Singleton; her daughter, Lisa Singleton Comfort; her grandchildren, Leanne Comfort and Ashley Comfort; her 100 year old Mother-in-law, Vida Alice Singleton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters, Sharon and Barbara.
Rose's funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington.
