Obituary
Roy D. Larcom passed over into eternal life on Thursday morning, February 7, 2008 at South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington, Nevada. He was 66.
Roy was born in Lockport, New York on January 31, 1942 where he lived until moving to Reno in 1983. He lived in Reno 21 years until moving to Fernley two years ago. He was employed by and retired from Thyssen Kupp VDM USA formerly Precision Rolled Products in Reno, Nevada. He was a loving husband and father. He loved Nascar, the outdoors and his Grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Cecelia Larcom of Fernley, NV; one son, Jeffrey (Sue) Larcom of Fernley; two daughters, Jennifer (Paul) Wiles of Yerington, NV and Margaret Larcom of Sparks, NV; his four grandchildren, Meghan Brown, Jessica and Stephanie Larcom and Joseph Wellesley; his brothers, James of Newfane, NY and Donald of Naples, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Gregory and a sister, Ethel Letcher of Olcott, NY.
In keeping with his wishes no funeral service will be held. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, Nevada 89447.
