Roy W. Ricord passed away on September 16, 2009 in South Lake Tahoe. He was 31.

Roy was born in Yerington and had graduated from Yerington High School. Roy was always singing and he loved karaoke and making music. He loved his first band, Dark Allance then later Rykord. He enjoyed making people laugh at his own expense. Although the rollercoaster of life was old and bumpy, Roy enjoyed the ride.

He is survived by his parents Duane Ricord and Myra Smith, his grandparents, Pat & Jack Ricord, his three sisters, Janis, Mariah and Sara and his brother, Chris; his nephews, Jaxon and Justice and nieces, Jazmyn, Janell and Josslynn; and leaves behind many many people he touched in life. He will be missed by his many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chester and Sophina Smith and greatgrandparents, Roy and Ethel Ricord.

Roy's funeral service and viewing will be held 11:00 am Thursday, September 24th at the Yerington Paiute Tribal Gym on Campbell Lane Yerington
