Ruth Opal Magee passed away late Friday evening, February 10, 2012, at the South Lyon Medical Center, Long Term Care in Yerington, Nevada. Ruth was 89.

Ruth was born in Nebraska on October 31, 1922 the daughter of Joe and Clara Julian.

She had been a long time Yerington resident having ranched in the area. She enjoyed bowling, gardening and going to Casino West. She also enjoyed her friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Magee of Yerington. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harry, and her sisters, Joy Schender and June Perkins and her brother, Jay Julian.

In keeping with her wishes no memorial service will be held.
