Obituary
Sandra 'Sandy' J. Shipley passed away at her home in Yerington on Friday morning, February 23, 2018. She was 69.
Sandy was born Wenatchee, Washington on April 14, 1948 the daughter of Lester and Eunice (Crandle) Low. She married Walt Shipley on June 24, 1967 in Post Falls, Idaho.
Sandy was a resident of Yerington for the past 15 years coming from Spokane, WA.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Walt; her daughter, Patti and her husband Mike Bayless; her Mother, Eunice; her brother, Jerry and sister, Gayle Ann Lowry; three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Sandy's funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Hwy 208 Yerington. Burial will be at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Fernley.
