Scott William LaMonda died from injuries received in an auto accident on June 15, 2010 near Carson City. He was 46.

Scott was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on August 1, 1963 the son of Barry and Virginia (Lundbald) LaMonda. When he was 5 years he came to California by train to live in southern California. He moved to Yerington when he was a junior in high school and graduated from Yerington High School in 1981. After graduation he worked for Sierra Pacific, starting in the mail room and then became an apprentice lineman becoming a fulltime lineman. Scott loved to read, and also to workout and to play basketball. Scott was a major fan of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics. He loved to help people.

Scott married Tori Andrews on September 8, 2001 in Yerington.

Scott is survived by his wife, Tori; his son, Tyler LaMonda; his daughters, Gabrielle LaMonda and Tashina Conner; his brothers, Tim and Jason and his sister Marie Blanchard; and his parents. He was preceded in death by his brother, Barry.

Scott's memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, June 20th at the Yerington Vineyard Fellowship Church 307 Broadway Yerington, Nevada. A reception will follow the service at the LaMonda residence 1440 Hwy 208 Yerington.
