Obituary

Sean Kelley passed away at his home in Yerington, Nevada on Sunday, July 31, 2011. Sean was 42.

Sean was born in Tacoma, Washington on March 26, 1969. He moved to Nevada in 1983, and graduated from Yerington High School in 1987 and then enlisted in the Marine Corps, honorably serving his country in Desert Storm. After his military service he returned to Nevada and worked for the Marine Corps Programs in Hawthorne where he met the amazing woman and the love of his life, his devoted wife, Heather.

Sean and Heather eventually moved to Yerington where Sean worked for Lyon County and where they raised their two daughters. Sean has always been a devoted husband and father, he cherished his family, enjoying all the various outdoor activities that the area provides.

His love of the water and boating became a well-established part of the family's summer activities, including water skiing and bare-footing. The friends that Sean and Heather made at Lake Lahontan have become a second family. They have been especially close to Brandyn, Dylan, Austyn and Patrick. The boys have been like Sean and Heather's summer children, extending and enriching their family with their charm and highjinks. Sean's continuous, daily devotion to his girls is evident in many ways including coaching their softball team, family vacations to Washington, California and Hawaii and cruising Mexico. These special memories and his every day loving acts are his legacy to his family and friends. We will remember his brilliant smile, his amazing blue eyes and his ready laugh. As we gather to celebrate Sean's life, we will feel his loving arms around us.

Sean is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Heather, his daughters, Ashley Bryant (Jonathan), Angela Moore, his granddaughter, Olivia Rene Bryant expected to arrive October 8th; his Mother, Teri Weigel, his Father, Ray Kelley; his sisters, Toni Kelley, Carrie Muir (Devin Bowers), his brother, Chad Kelley (Heather); his father-in-law, John Stingerie; his grandmother, Joan Sales, Uncle, Rex Weigel (Charlene), Aunt, Joni Congleton (Paul) family friend, TJ Kinsey and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
