Obituary
Sharon Harvey Wasson passed away Sunday morning, August 28, 2011 at his home in Schurz, Nevada. He was 87.
Mr. Wasson was born in Hoopa, California the son of Thomas and Sadie (Dyer) Wasson. He served in the United States Army/Air Force during World War II. He served in the battles at Normandy, Germany and Northern France. He received many citations and decorations for his service.
He lived many years in Susanville, California and for the past several years had lived in Schurz.
He is survived by his children, Terry Wasson of Schurz, Tom Wasson of Susanville, California and Margaretta Ashes of South San Francisco, California; a niece, Kristen Brown.
A memorial service will be held at the Senior Citizen Center, 1700 Sunkist Drive in Susanville, California on Saturday, September 3rd at 11:00 am. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Sunday, September 4th at 11:00 am at the Schurz Cemetery in Schurz, Nevada.
