Obituary
Sheila Lorene Jones passed away at her home after an extended illness in Yerington, Nevada on Sunday afternoon, March 13, 2011. She was 53.
Sheila was born in Exater, California on January 13, 1958 the daughter of Lolan and Shirley (Landers) Harmon.
Sheila has lived in Yerington for the past three years coming from Victorville, California. She enjoyed sewing and knitting. She also enjoyed gardening and reading frontier history.
Sheila is survived by her long time companion, Charles Howerton of Yerington, NV; her son Davis Jones of Fresno, California and her daughter, Jackie Jones of Hesperia, California; her brothers, Burt Harmon, Larry Harmon and Mitchell Harmon; her step brother, Darby Miller; her sisters, Bonita Jones, Barbie Land and step-sister, Etta Neal; her father and step-mother, Lolan and Edna Harmon; her companion Charles's sister and her husband Dusty and Gary Raymond; and her six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Mother and her husband, Jack Jones.
No local service will be held. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, NV 89447, (775) 463-2911.
