Sherryrll Jean Johnson passed away on Thursday evening, October 29, 2009 at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington, Nevada. She was 67.

Sherryrll was born in Ellensburg, Washington on August 3, 1942 the daughter of Kenneth and Norma (Nevins) Snyder. She grew up in Washington before moving to Nevada. She married Mel J. Johnson in Fallon, Nevada in 1965. They lived in many different places since Mel was in the Navy. She moved to Yerington in 1983 and worked at AD Textiles for many years and for Winner's Corner for over 13 years. Sherry had a love for life, enjoyed her jobs and was a people person that would have done anything for anyone. She was a spunky old broad. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was known as 'Nan' and she did spoil them and had let them get away with everything.

Sherry is survived by her daughters, Katherine and her husband Craig Robison and Joanne Kirkwood; her three grandchildren, Joshua, Blaine and Jeralyn; her brother, Doyle Snyder; her former husband, Melvin Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Melvin E. Johnson, Jr.; two brothers, Butch and Loyle and a sister, Roxanne.

Sherry's memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 7th at the Mason Valley Southern Baptist Church 5B 2nd South Street (Mason) Yerington, Nevada
