Sondra Jean (Jeannie) McDaniel passed away Friday morning, November 24th, 2006 at the South Lyon Medical Center, Yerington. She was 65.

She was born in California on December 8, 1940 the daughter of Ralph and Marguirete (Cline) Ellison. She grew up in southern California and was always fond of the ocean. Jeannie was an accomplished musician. She and her husband, Arlo had played at the Grand Ole Opry and various other venues for many years. For the past 12 years she was employed at the SLMC as a CNA which she greatly enjoyed.

She is survived by her husband, Arlo of Yerington; her children, Misty and her husband Delmar Stevens of Yerington, Kyle and his wife Kathy Hampshire of Carson City and Terry King of Phoenix; her grandchildren, Dominick Ratto and Kutoven Stevens of Yerington; her great grandchild, Brandon Smith also of Yerington; her brothers Mike Ellison of South Carolina and Glen Ellison of California.

In keeping with her wishes no memorial service is planned. Cremation is under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, Yerington (775) 463-2911. Friends may place a message in the family guest book at www.FRFH.net.
