Obituary
Stephen 'Steve' Scodak passed away at his home in Yerington on Tuesday morning, February 24, 2009. He was 67.
Steve was born in Little Falls, New Jersey on April 27, 1941. He had married Judy Divin in Nevada on September 29, 1979. Steve had been a resident of Yerington for the past 25 years, moving from Ely. He lived a breathed camping and collecting camping gear. He enjoyed gardening, building and repairng. Steve enjoyed being with good friends and enjoying a glass of wine. He had worked as a school custodian for the Lyon County School District for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; his children, Bill Barnes, Ronda Barnes and Ginni Mariluch; his brother, Ed and Sister-in-law, Rosanne Scodak; and his grandchildren, Alek and Kade Mariluch, Sara, Joe and Hilari Gabriel; and one great great grandchild, Evan Gabiel.
A memorial service for Steve will be held 11:00 am Monday, March 2nd, 2009 at the Holy Family Catholic Church 37 North West Street Yerington.
