Obituary
Sterling F. Allen passed away at his home in Yerington, Nevada on Friday, January 10, 2014. He was 91.
Sterling was born in Los Angeles, California on September 7, 1922 the son of Rupert and Charlotte (Faeh) Allen.
Sterling was a Veteran having served in the United States Navy during World War II. He served as an Aviation Ordnanceman First Class, he received the World War II Victory Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.
Sterling was a Chiropractic Physician, practicing in El Segundo, California, he was a 5th degree Black Belt in Shorin Ryu Karate. He also taught Martial Artsd in Yerington for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; his daughter and her husband Michelle and Bob Cota; his son, Paul Allen, his step-sons, Don Henderson and Dan and his wife Marcia Henderson; his five grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Valley View Cemetery.
