Obituary
Steven Allen Hurt died Monday evening, February 20, 2012 at his home in Yerington. He was 45.
Steve was born in Reno, Nevada on February 4, 1967 the son of Allen and Valeria (Martell) Hurt. He lived most of his life in Yerington, having graduated from Yerington High School in 1985, he received his AA degree in Business and was working on his BA degree in business.
Steve worked for NV Energy at the Fort Churchill Power Station. He enjoyed the water, while boating, fishing, swimming or even sunbathing. He also enjoed the outdoors in camping and hiking.
Steve is survived by his wife, Patti Ann Hurt; his daughter, Darian Nicole Hurt; his step- children, Kyle, Jessica and Timothy; his sisters, Sarah Wink, Jessica King and Kelly Allen. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Dale Webster.
Steve's Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 600 North Oregon Street, Yerington.
