Obituary
Terry L. Hester passed away at Renown Medical Center in Reno, Nevada on Friday evening, January 3, 2014. He was 70.
Terry was born in Rockford, Illinois on October 11, 1943 the son of Lloyd and Betty (Johnson) Hester.
Terry was a Veteran having served in the U. S. Navy, He married Janice M. Hurd on April 4, 1964.
Terry and his wife moved to Yerington in the summer of 2004, coming from Lancaster, California.
Terry operated his own trucking business for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and shooting and also exploring in the outdoors. He was a member of the American Legion, the Moose Lodge and the Mason Valley Trap Club.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janice, his son, Craig and his wife Debbie Hester, his Mother, Betty; his two grandchildren, Dawn and Ashley; his two nieces and one great niece.
No memorial service is planned at this time, cremation has taken place under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home.
