Thelma H. Thompson passed away early Wednesday morning, May 1, 2013 at the Renown Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. Thelma was 88.
Thelma was born on the Fallon Ranch (Flying M Ranch), Nevada the daughter of Joe and Adeline (Harry) Thompson.
Thelma had worked for over twenty years as a Cook for the Yerington Paiute Tribe Elder program and the City of Yerington. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, gathering Native American foods, gardening and spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Curtis Millsap, Doug (Judy) Thompson, Marlin Thompson, Reldon (Crystal) Hatch, Loren Thompson, Nancy (Darrel) Killbrew and Patti Hatch; her 20 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren; her sister, Estella Thompson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Thelma was preceded in death by her Parents, by her Grandparents, by sisters, Kathleen, Melba and Dorothy; by her brother, Joe, Jr., and her beloved son, Terry Thompson.
Thelma will be missed, never forgotten and always will remain in our hearts. Her stories will be passed down for generations to come as she is held in our hearts. We will continue on in her traditions always reminding her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as others that we will be with her once again.
In keeping with her wishes no formal service will be held.
