Theodore Roosevelt Rempp, Jr passed away at his home in Yerington on Monday, November 30, 2020.  He was 90.

Ted was born July 10, 1930 in Los Angeles, California the son of Theodore and Aurolyn (Vandivert).  He attended schools in Pasadena, California, in Hawthorne, NV and graduated from Yerington High School the class of 1949.

The Rempp family owned a ranch in the south portion of Mason Valley where Ted was in partnership with his parents.  Ted also served during the Korean War with the occupation Army in Germany.  He had worked at Peoples Packing Company and for Ralph Marconi both before and after his service.  He attended the Oregon school of meat cutting in 1970.

Ted also worked for the Anaconda Mine until it closed, then he went to work for the City of Yerington in the Public Works Department until he retired in 1994.

In 1957 he married Yvonne Price, and to this union four sons were born; Theodore Remmp III and his wife Dana live in Delta, Utah, Gregory and his wife Carol live in Yerington, Norman and his wife Carla live in Phoenix and Arthur and his wife Leanne live in Reno.  He has 30 grandchildren and 60 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

In his adult years he was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He served in many capacities in the Church.  He and his wife served in a mission for two years in Australia Brisbrane Mission in Northern Queensland.  After they came home they served in a mission in Nevada Las Vegas West Mission.

Ted enjoyed farming and raising animals and also driving the roads of Mason and Smith Valley.  He had many friends and enjoyed visiting with them often.  His great desire was that his family would remember the good times and stay close to the Lord.
