Obituary
Troy Martin Wylie passed away at the Carson Tahoe Medical Center in Carson City, Nevada on Friday evening, February 20, 2015. He was 93.
Troy was born in Holson Valley, Oklahoma on February 23, 1921 the son of Marcus and Lou (Turner) Wylie. He was the seventh child of 11.
He left Oklahoma to live in Arkansas to work in Saw Mills. He joined the Army and served during World War II. After his honorable discharge from the army he moved to California where he worked on the Railroad, He also worked many years in Construction and retired then moved to Nevada.
He is survived by his Son, Bill; his daughters, Peggy and Wilma; his 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, his 10 siblings and his wife.
Troy's funeral service will be held 10:00 am Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Smith Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Travis Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery.
