Twyla Marie Lindsey passed away Thursday evening March 17, 2016 at South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington, Nevada. She was 75.

Twyla was born in Deadwood, South Dakota on March 28th, 1940 the daughter of Cecil and Ruth Widner. The family moved to Thompson Falls, Montana where she graduated from high school in 1958.

She moved to Yerington in 1966 with her children Rodney and Tara. She married Warren Slippey, and they had their daughter, Ruth. She loved being a housewife and raising her children. After the death of Warren in 1979, she met Claude Lindsey. She worked at the wrecking yard with Claude for many years until they retired.

Hobbies included rock hounding, traveling, camping, reading, ghost towns, oceans, whale watching, and just watching people. She also enjoyed cactus making for yard art.

She is survived by her children, son; Rodney(Lorie) of Battle Mountain, NV., daughters; Tara(Charlie)of Fortson, GA., and Ruthie of Yerington, NV.; grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Jonathon, Lindsey, Kelsey, Austin, Cassie, Craig, Collin, Megan, and Laney; great grandchildren, Liyah and Julianna; Brothers, Eddie and Harley; Sister, DeLva. She loved her family and friends unconditionally.
