Obituary
Vernon Delbert Bobb passed away at his home in Schurz, Nevada on Tuesday, April 15, 2008. He was 78.
Vernon was born in Schurz, Nevada on May 30, 1929 the son of Dave and Rena Bobb. He had graduated from the Sherman Indian School and had also been a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He married Lilly Hicks on May 30, 1953 in Schurz at the Methodist church. He enjoyed Fishing, Prospecting, Rodeo, and Hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Lilly; his sons, Clifton and Donald; his daughters, Lorraine Quintana and Renee Lamkin; by his 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Donald and Sister, Dortothy Fredricks.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, April 26 at the Walker River Tribal Gym in Schurz. Burial will be in the Walker River Tribal Cemetery, Schurz.
