Obituary
Vernon Lee Parsons, Jr. passed away at his home in Yerington, Nevada on Saturday evening, February 19, 2011. He was 72.
Vernon was born in Redding, California on November 4, 1938 the son of Vernon and Alede (Stocker) Parsons, Sr..
Vernon had lived the past six months in Yerington, Nevada coming from Redding, California where he had lived his entire life. Vernon loved to fly and had built his own plane. He was a very talented individual, and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughters, Debra Parsons of Shasta Lake City, California and Leslie Shauer of Santa Rosa, California; his brother Charles of Yerington, Nevada; his Father, Vernon Lee Parsons, Sr. of Redding, CA and a nephew, Daniel W. Parsons of Anderson, CA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alede Leone Parsons.
His service will be held 11:00 am Friday, March 4th at the Allen - Dahl Funeral Home 2030 Howard Street Anderson, California. Burial will be in the family plot at the Anderson Cemetery.
