Obituary
Viola V. Burris passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at her residence at Mason Valley Residence in Yerington. She was 90.
Viola was born in San Francisco, California on February 19, 1918 the daughter of Carl and Victoria Mathisen. She had lived in the Mason Valley since 1993 coming from Tacoma, Washington.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Carolann Lemmon of Modesto, California, Larry and his wife Marge Snoreen of Oakdale, California and Lanny and his wife Mary Snoreen of Overton, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Richard Burris who passed away December 31, 2005.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 3rd at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home with burial at Valley View Cemetery.
