Obituary
Walter James Goldsmith passed away at Renown Medical Center in Reno on Saturday, February 20, 2016. He was 76.
Walter was born in Bellingham, Washington on October 21, 1939 the son of Walter and Eleanore (Butts) Goldsmith.
He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy
He was a longtime resident of Yerington. He enjoyed collecting eagle statues and pictures, he also enjoyed hunting and camping.
Walt is survived by his daughter, Ann Marie Goldsmith of Seattle and son, James of Tacoma, WA; his sisters, Alice Patton of Yerington and Janet Carlyle of Yuma, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert.
No memorial service will be held, his cremated remains will be buried in the family plot at Valley View Cemetery.
