Walter Lynn Young was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on May 26, 1943 the son of Walter and Vergie (Burkett) Young. He joined our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Vergie Young, his brother Timothy and sister Connie. He is sur vived by his wife, Ginger Young; his sister Cathie (Ron) Phelps; his daughter Monica (Rob) Carter, and his son Cody (Autumn) Young. His grandchildren, Sierra (Leroy) Gowin, Randy Carter, Courtney (Jimmy) Young-Rodriguez, Melissa Carter, Jerica (Max) McDoniel, Lane Young, Leona (Austin) Young, and Skye Carter-Ottley. As well as eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11:00 am at The Church or Latter-Day Saints, 600 North Oregon Street Yerington, Nevada.  A graveside service with military honors will be held in Elko, Nevada at a later date.
