Obituary
Walton J. Wimberly passsed away on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the Regent Care Center in Reno. She was 78.
She was born October 13, 1929 in Orangeburg, South Carolina the daughter of Wallace and Sara Jeffords. Walton had graduated from the University of South Carolina. She worked as a Photographer for many years retiring in 1979. She had been a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority of the University of South Carolina; of the Sports Car Club of America; the Pink Lady Hospital Auxilliary of Southern California and also a Foster Grandparent while in Yerington, Nevada.
She is survived by her Nieces, Ann Kee of Hawthorne, Sara Markland of Sparks and Donna Edwards of Reno; her nephew, Richard Gantt of Carson City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
No Memorial service will be held, Cremation has taken place under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington.
