Wayne David Bowman passed away at the Veterans Hospital in Reno on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.  He was 80.

Wayne was born in Sonoma, California on November 27, 1941.  He moved with his family as a young boy to Yerington where his family ranched.  He attended the Wabuska Grade School and high school in Yerington.  He served in the United States Marine Corps.

He worked as a Butcher for many years.  Wayne enjoyed gardening especially growing corn and he also loved fishing

Wayne is survived by his wife Linda Edwards; his son, Tim and step sons, Troy, Eric and Mathew; his 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; his three sisters, Patti, Donna and Karen and his brother, Gordan.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Debbie.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.  When the date and time is set we will post it on this site.  Family and friends are invited to sign his guest book at www.FRFH.net
