Wayne Kenneth Pittman passed away on Wednesday morning, January 4, 2012 at the South Lyon Medical Center/Long Term Care in Yerington, Nevada. He was 73.

Wayne was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 29, 1938 the son of Harvey and Josephine (Oellein) Pittman. He married Patrice Brajkovich on August 22, 1968. They had lived in the Mason Valley for over 43 years where they raised two sons, Brian and Richard.

Wayne loved being outdoors where he was an avid fisherman, hunter and hiker. He loved to swap stories and never met a stanger in the world. Wayne prided himself on living his life to the fullest with a "Cowboy's Lifestyle". Wayne was employed in many different professions but his passion was working with horses.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patrice Pittman; his sons, Richard Pittman and Brian D. Pittman; his daughter-in-law, Beth (Ayers) Pittman; his grandchildren, Blaine Pittman, Darby Carpenter, Zachary Pittman, Andrew Pittman, and Allison Pittman. He was preceded in death by his parents, an older brother and a younger sister.

A celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
