Obituary
Wayne Robert Westfall passed away on Saturday morning, June 16, 2007 after a lingering illness at Renown Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. He was 59.
He was born March 19, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduation from high school Wayne spent several years in the VISTA Program stationed in Schurz, Nevada. When he left VISTA, he resumed his college studies at University of Nevada, Reno. Upon graduation from UNR he went to work for the Nevada Department of Transportation as a Property Appraiser/Eminent Domain expert. He retired from NDOT in 2002 and traveled extensively.
Wayne leaves behind his life long friends, Lary & Elizabeth Summerville of Yerington, Nevada and a sister, Joyce Anderson of Jamestown, Indiana.
In keeping with his wishes no memorial service will be held. Following cremation his cremains will be inurned at the Valley View Cemetery, Yerington.
