William Guy Duckworth passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Carson City, Nevada.  He was 75.

William was born in Healdsburg, California on July 26, 1944 the son of Willard and Jean (Hoffman) Duckworth.  He graduated from Cal Poly, SLO with a degree in Soil Science.  He served 2 years in the Peace Corps serving that time in Africa.  After his time in the Peace Corps he served in the US Army and had been stationed in Korea,

Bill spent 20 years with the USDA - Soil Conservation Service.  He found great satisfaction working with local farmers and ranchers on various agriculture projects.

He married Glenda Rima in Yerington on May 25, 1974.  They had run a printing business in Carson City for many years.  He was a Los Angeles Dodge fan for many years and was also an LA Rams fan.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda; his sister, Carol Armstrong and his nephew, Kypp (Kathy) Armstrong and their 2 sons, Thomas and Martin al of Oregon
