William Jay "BJ" Ebert passed away at his home in Yerington on Monday morning, March 13, 2017. He was 75.
Jay was born in San Francisco, California on February 11, 1942 the son of William and Lillian Ebert. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy.
Jay has lived in Yerington for the past 18 years. He enjoyed working on his place and helping neighbors.
He is survived by his son, Robert James Ebert; his brothers, Dan, David and Doug and his sister, Teri; by his grandchildren C J Ebert, Sylvia Ebert, Dakota Ebert and Alexander Ebert; and by his great grandchild, Aiden William Sherman.
Jay's service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, March 22 at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Hwy 208 Yerington.
