William Robert Hendricks 'Hawkeye' passed away at his home in Smith Valley, Nevada on Monday morning, January 17, 2011. He was 74.

William was born in Hollywood, California on November 7, 1936 the son of Mark and Mildred (Reagan) Hendricks. He graduated from Van Nuys High School, Van Nuys, California. He married Patricia Maxine Chamebrlain in Van Nuys, California on October 29, 1955. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Air Force.

He has lived the past 19 years in Smith Valley, Nevada coming from Simi Valley, California. He worked as a Glazier for over 25 years and also 15 years as a Construction contractor. He was a member of the Glazier Union Local 636.

He enjoyed Falconry, Fishing and was an avid Hunter. He remodeled many homes in the valley and everybody knew him as 'Mr. Fix It'.

William is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia; his sons, William Scott Hendricks and Todd Allan Hendricks; his brother, James Hendricks and sister, Jane Chavez; his grandchildren, Christopher, Hunter and Cainen; his great grandson, Alexander Scott Hendricks. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Judy Ellen Hendricks and a daughter, Linda Ellen Hendricks.

His memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Crossroads Nazarene Church 1788 Pinenut Road Gardnerville, NV (775) 782-4498 with Pastor Bill Powers officiating.
